1 Renunciation Traditionally, when a person embarks on religious/spiritual quest, leaving behind his/her householder's life (Worldly-life), it is said to be renunciation. Whereas, intrinsically, renunciation means the psychological freedom from popular worldlyvalue-system and a spontaneous (Not cultivated) acute inner clarity about the psyche's death pangs. One need not and also CANNOT discard fear and attachment by exercising one's will and volition. When an appropriate inner clarity takes place due to DIRECT-PERCEPTION into the ultimate TRUTH of existence, fears and attachments fall off, without any effort. Until then, even a herculean effort cannot succeed in removing a tiny tip of our deep-rooted fears and attachments.
